Our Story
After working and living overseas for many years, we wanted to continue to keep an international dimension to our family life. We discovered Sri Lanka many years ago and decided to establish part of our life on the island. By opening the house and turning it into a welcoming place that is fully catered, family friendly , luxurious with all modern amenities , we hope to share our experience of Galle Sri Lanka with others and to support the local economy.
Villa Secrets
We designed the house with children in mind (our children were all very involved in the process from land selection to pool size dimensions…) creating a child-friendly environment but not missing out on luxury and all modern amenities. Finding the perfect vacation rental is always a challenge with a family so we hope this one will work for you.
Design
The villa was heavily influenced by Sri Lankan heritage, and includes all modern facilities and luxury touches you would expect from a luxury stay. The pool has also been carefully designed to bring calm and serenity to the centre of the house.
Staff
The villa is fully staffed, you will have the same experience as a 5* hotel, with fresh bedding, towels breakfast cooked, bedroom cleaned daily – but with the space and freedom of your own villa. Our house keeper can also cook excellent local cuisine.
Nature
The villa is secluded and built on a headland surrounded by our own paddy fields and tea plantations.. The location offers a quiet oasis and we are graced by a full range of animals that you can look out from the comfort of the villa : peacocks, monkeys…
